Immigration law expert Andrew Brown has been named as a consultant for Australia’s immigration agency.
Brown, who previously served as a legal adviser to the Australian Government, is currently in Melbourne as part of a four-week internship at the Immigration Department.
He will be working on an analysis of the impact of Australia’s policy on asylum seekers and will help the Department with its strategy for managing asylum seekers in the community.
Brown is a senior immigration law expert who previously worked for the Australian Federal Police and the Federal Court.
He has also written on issues related to Australian immigration law, including asylum seekers.
