The cost of illegal immigration in the United States is one of the highest in the world, and it is estimated that in the next five years, the country will add another 5 million undocumented immigrants to its population.
According to a recent report by the Migration Policy Institute, illegal immigration has cost the United State an estimated $3.4 trillion since 2007, an amount that is expected to grow by another $3 trillion by 2020.
The report found that the cost of legal immigration in 2020 will be $2.3 trillion, a cost that is likely to increase to $3 billion by 2060.
The cost for the U.S. as a whole, however, is estimated to be $1.7 trillion, or roughly the same as it was in 2007.
The Immigration Reform Law Institute estimates that in 2019, the cost will reach $5.1 trillion, an increase of over $1 trillion over the current year.
